Coach is a well-established luxury brand with a strong New York heritage stretching back over 85 years. It delivers a strong contemporary inclusive and approachable metropolitan style to consumers worldwide. After working with them on their key Fall and pre-Fall collections in 2017, Blue Mount was honoured to be retained to design the Chinese New Year window at their flagship podium space at Lane Crawford in Hong Kong’s ifc mall.
The theme for the upcoming Year of the Dog was to let the festive light shine on every single person, with a focus on the very traditional Chinese character ‘Fu’ amid Spring flower blossoms. This character is usually summed up as ‘happiness’, but in the past also referred to ‘blessing’ and ‘good fortune’ or ‘luck’. Today, as in the past, people pin the ‘Fu’ stickers on the doors or walls in hope for a happy life and a better future.
For the 2018 Chinese New Year, Blue Mount worked with Coach to bring its customers a full store of happiness and auspicious blossoms.
